How Does TMS Work?
TMS is a non-invasive outpatient therapy designed to fit seamlessly into your daily routine. Each session lasts about 19-40 minutes, during which a cushioned coil is gently positioned against your head. Magnetic pulses are delivered to stimulate areas of the brain that regulate mood.
What to Expect During Treatment:
- You may feel a gentle tapping or tingling sensation at the site of the coil placement
- This sensation is temporary and often subsides after the first few sessions.
- There’s no need for anesthesia, sedation, or downtime—you can resume your regular activities, including driving, immediately after treatment.
